Gaza Node Map

Gaza Node Map is an experimental visualization and research tool from Archive Genocide that turns the archive's documented footage into an interconnected graph. It connects events, people, actors, places, facilities, and footage clips, allowing users to explore relationships between documented incidents.

The map currently contains 92,588 events, 8,627 people, 715 actors, 3,440 facilities, and 131,387 clips. Users can search the dataset with free text or structured filters, explore categories such as massacres, hospitals, journalists, children and perpetrators, and inspect how individual nodes are connected.

1. Interactive Evidence Graph: Explore relationships between incidents, people, places, facilities, actors, and footage.
2. Advanced Search: Search freely or use filters such as category, location, date, number of clips, and press tier.
3. Evidence Corroboration: Classify incidents according to corroboration levels from independently filmed or sourced footage.
4. Relationship Mapping: Follow established and possible connections between different entities in the archive.
5. Data Download: Access the underlying dataset rather than relying only on the visualization.
6. Methodology Transparency: Explains how footage is clustered, locations resolved, and relationships classified.
